The damages in a swimming pool can be caused by different reasons. The repairs of these damages may need simple maintenance like tile replacement or joint sealing, or may be complex like the repair of the structure of the swimming pool.
The damaged structural iron must be uncovered or perforated and must be cleaned mechanically or by hand. Afterwards the iron will be fixed with Sika Monotop 910 or simmilar. Once the corrugated iron is repaired, the next step is the regeneration of the base with Sika Monotop 612. The result is a smooth base for the replacement of the tiles in the damaged area and the joint sealing.
Works related to swimming pool maintenance must be done every 6 years approximately, although the swimming pool itself will show the moment to check it depending on the products used for the water maintenance. Maintenance works consist of emptying the pool, high-pressure water cleaning of the interior and the perimeter. Once the work is done, waste water will be removed by hand pump. When the base is cleaned, broken tiles will be replaced and, then, the joints will be sealed with special mortar. After finishing the repair or maintenance and after a few days, the swimming pool can be filled again.
